Western Digital WD3200JB: Price/performance Leader
The WD3200JB sits at the pinnacle among Western Digital's UltraATA offerings in this review. As with so many other drives, this one features 7,200 RPM and 8 MB of on-board cache. The performance capability lags just behind the 400 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.8, but the purchase price is also sits at the high end of the range as well. While the WD3200JB lacks the command queuing feature found in its SATA WD3200JD counterpart, benchmark results show pretty clearly that this makes little real world difference.
