Due to back-to-school demand and hot season effects, most Taiwan-based panel makers, including AU Optronics (AUO), Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) and Quanta Display, plan to raise prices for their LCD monitor or notebook panels, according to the Chinese-language Apple Daily.
