Firmware Update: Please Wait
Unfortunately, the most recent version of the firmware can't just be downloaded from the Web, as is the case with most companies. Instead, customers are asked to send an email to [email protected] to receive a download link. We tried this procedure, and indeed, a mere 26 minutes after sending the message, we received an answer including the download link as well as update instructions in PDF format.
Of course, this raises the question of how Thecus plans to handle these support queries when there aren't any employees in the office. The email we received was obviously not an automated response; it seems that the company doesn't expect many requests for updated firmware!
