DDR2-667
Intel's second platform generation for PCI Express and socket LGA775 utilizes DDR2-667 memory (for the 945, 955 chipsets). As already mentioned, the accelerated memory clock speed increases the system power requirements for a dual channel configuration by 1-3 W when idle or under load when maintaining the 1.8 V default voltage. This is not worth mentioning in the context of minimum system power requirements of at least 60 W in case of ordinary desktop PCs, so it makes sense to go for DDR2-667 instead of DDR2-533 if your system supports it.
