The manufacturer, however, forces customers to use 201 MHz system cycles (when 200 MHz is selected). Changing the setting to 199 MHz means the system actually runs at 198.6 MHz, making a fair performance comparison with other motherboards more difficult for us. At 3216 MHz, Gigabyte's core speed is consequently the highest. One thing we liked about nForce4-IE motherboards was that here, all candidates kept precisely to the 200.0 MHz figure laid down by Intel.
