Benchmark Results: Synthetics
Benchmark differences can mostly be found between the processor architectures, as the Core 2 Duo E8600 is simply faster than the Phenom II X2 550. We deliberately used the fastest available dual-core processors for testing. AMD has the advantage of much more attractive pricing, though.
