At first, we could not enable the energy saving Cool & Quiet feature, which had the Turion 64 lose the efficiency race against the Pentium M in our initial test runs. If, however, one disables the equivalent Intel SpeedStep feature, the systems are on par: 48 W vs. 49 W in idle mode. Check the test results for details.
