Japanese Robot Builder Creates RC Transformer

A Japanese robot builder has built a remote controlled Transformer bot.

Kenji Ishida posted a video that shows an RC car that changes into an upright robot and remain fully functional with movable legs and arms. The design requires 22 individual servos to make the transformation happen.

The car is reportedly not the first transformer Ishida has built. It appears to be the eight version that has improved with each iteration over a period of four years.
