FBI agents have recovered a stolen Veteran Affairs laptop that was taken during a May 3 home burglary. The laptop contained personal information, including Social Security numbers, about more than 26.5 million military personnel. FBI officials claim that the data had not been accessed.
An unidentified person gave the laptop to FBI agents yesterday in Baltimore. The laptop was taken from a VA employee's home in a burglary, but no suspects have yet been caught.
