Samsung today announced a 16x single-layer and 8x dual-layer DVD burner that includes Lightscribe technology, which lets users engrave labels, photos, and designs right onto the CD and DVD discs.
The SH-W162L comes with common DVD drive technologies, such as silent pulse width modulation (SPWM) and Automatic Ball Balancing System (ABS) to improve performance and lower the volume of in use clatter when recording or reading at higher speeds.
The device is shipping now and available for a suggested retail price of $70.
