Finally, a way to compute outside in the blistering sunlight.

Last week we saw the first pictures of Pixel Qi’s much hyped 3qi LCD screen. Now we get to see it in action in Taipei, thanks to a video from techvideoblog, showing a demonstration of the technology by John Ryan, Pixel Qi COO.

    Finally, those models in advertisments that smile while looking at laptops in bright sunlight have something to look at other than a blind screen. (Was always funny to see, while you knew they couldn't have possibly seen enough to work on it.)

  • this thing got issues with color. So only expect a B&W screen when in reflective mode.
