MSI has taken the wraps off the MS-98DS which aims to break the stereotype of POS as a "stand-alone cash register in a store or restaurant" and develop a high-end POS host to meet the demands of the fast growth of information technology and network communication.
With regards to outputs, the motherboard features internal and external VGA connectors, LVDS and DC-12V out for the second monitor, six COM ports (four of which are powered and controlled by the BIOS) and RJ11 "cash drawer" connectors.
