Intel informed notebook and desktop PC manufacturers during a regular roadmap update that the upcoming mobile dual-core processor Yonah will debut not just as a notebook chip: Sources told 3DTested Guide that Intel will aim its mobile processor for the first time at desktop devices such as Small Form Factor PCS (SFF PCs) as well. The desktop and notebook platform will be identical and consist of the Yonah processor and the Calistoga chipset. Yonah is due in the first quarter of 2006. (THG)
