Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite Reportedly Entering Production

Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 (pictured below) is an impressive piece of technology, but it has a price to match. At more than $700 outright, the price of the Galaxy Note 3 is enough to put a lot of people off from buying the phone at all. However, Samsung may have a solution for those of us who just don't have that kind of money to spend on a phone.

There isn't much information out there in terms of specs, though Trusted Reviews says we might see an 8-megapixel camera instead of the 13-megapixel lens on the back of the regular Note 3. The Note 3 packs a  5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, a quad-core CPU, and 3 GB of RAM. No doubt the CPU and RAM will both be toned down in the newer Note 3 Lite.

Samsung is also rumored to be announcing the Galaxy S5 as well as three other devices in the first quarter of 2014, so hold onto your hats!

    So, it isn't a smaller version(AKA the S4), but a lower-specced version? Isn't that what the Note 2 is?

If I'm going to pay $700 for a phone, it'd better be able to play Crysis, or Call of Duty or Battlefield. Looks like we might have to wait a couple of years for that, which is exactly what I'm planning on.
