Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite Reportedly Entering Production

Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 (pictured below) is an impressive piece of technology, but it has a price to match. At more than $700 outright, the price of the Galaxy Note 3 is enough to put a lot of people off from buying the phone at all. However, Samsung may have a solution for those of us who just don't have that kind of money to spend on a phone.

According to rumors, Samsung is currently prepping a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite. The latest reports say that the Note 3 Lite has entered production and is on track for launch in early 2014. Though it's not clear if we'll see the device at CES in January or MWC in the spring, the phone will apparently be a more affordable and accessible version of the regular Note 3.

There isn't much information out there in terms of specs, though Trusted Reviews says we might see an 8-megapixel camera instead of the 13-megapixel lens on the back of the regular Note 3. The Note 3 packs a  5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, a quad-core CPU, and 3 GB of RAM. No doubt the CPU and RAM will both be toned down in the newer Note 3 Lite.

Samsung is also rumored to be announcing the Galaxy S5 as well as three other devices in the first quarter of 2014, so hold onto your hats!
