Crucial has updated its Ballistix and Ballistics Tracer memory modules. The new modules received a minor design change, including a heat spreader that now has a silver edge pattern and a more prominent product logo.
The devices are available as PC2-6400 (DDR2-800) devices (2x 512 MB) for about $240. The 2 GB kit (2 x 1 GB) runs for about $416, the upgrade to the Tracer version costs another $10. All modules come with 4-4-4-12 timings.
