Corsair announced availability of 1 GByte and 2 GByte kits of its DDR1 PC-4000 memory XMS-4000PT. The company "guarantees" that the memory will run at a clock speed of 500 MHz and 3-4-4-8-1T timings. Pricing for the 2 GByte kit, which aims at AMD Athlon-based enthusiast PCs, is $281.
