ATI released a new driver version for its Radeon-based graphics cards for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SuSe Linux distributions. The new package requires glibc version 2.2 or 2.3, Linux kernel 2.4, XFree86 version 4.1, 4.2, or 4.3 as well as POSIX shared memory (/dev/shm) support (for 3D applications).
The new release covers a range of bugfixes, including DVi displays, single-link mode for Apple's Cinema displays and system hangs on x86_64 systems.
