Intel Expected To Reveal Details About Dual-core Atom

First details about Intel’s upcoming dual-core Atom processor have been published by German website heise.de. The magazine said that the CPU is likely to be called Atom 330 and will debut with a thermal design power of 8 watts.

More details are expected to be revealed on Thursday.

    The market is intel itself since they will be the only ones paying for it from FAB Manufacturers and paying thier employees. I don't really think there is a point in Atom Dual Core if you increase cost and wattage that can be matched by underpowered socketed processors. Performance per watt on Atom isn't too impressive.
