Chassis from Lian Li, NZXT Designed for Gamers

Both NZXT and Lian Li revealed new PC cases designed with gamers and movie buffs in mind. Although neither chassis offering sports a high "wow" factor in appearance, the NZXT Vulcan M-ATX and the Lian Li TYR PC-X2000F are uniquely designed, with the former made for portability and the latter designed to fit within a home theater setup.

As for the Lian Li TYR PC-X2000F, the chassis was designed for both the gamer and HTPC enthusiast, however its design favors the latter category. This chassis is substantially bigger than the NZXT Vulcan, offering four "tool-less" 5.25-inch sliding bays with access on both sides of the rig, and seven "tool-less" hard drive sliding mounting racks. Behind the sleek, front cover you'll find three 140-mm silent intake fans, with the Fan Speed Control switch mounted on the back panel of the chassis.

Lian Li said that the TYR Pc-X2000F will sell for $539 USD, and may be available now. Although NZXT said that the Vulcan will hit the market on May 20, currently the chassis' pricetag is unknown.

That NZXT case looks gorgeous. I'd buy it (I already have a perfectly fine NZXT Case though:p).

Not worth the price. Id rather buy multiple HAF932s than buy one of these.

Why do they make anything geared towards gamers look really really queer. Flashy lights and weird shapes... It's almost right out of transformers... Sigh. I guess I'm the only normal gamer..
