The HTC One Mini has had multiple image and information leaks in the past weeks, so we are very happy to announce that the phone is finally official. In addition to specifications and images of the black version, we have had a confirmation of a Q3 launch. Retailers are starting to get their pre-released models, so naturally one company had to spill the beans (to our delight). One of the most popular rumors was that the phone would come with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie; however, that will have to wait for a later update, as the One Mini will come with Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2.
The form factor is almost identical to the One (big surprise there), and that logo on the back also confirms the presence of the Beats audio software in the Sense UI. The camera also looks similar to the bigger phone and is claimed to make "good photos," which in all honesty is so incredibly subjective that it reveals nothing at all.
