Bank of England Offers Tours Gold Vault via New App

The majority of people don't see a gold bar every day, never mind a whole roomful. However, thanks to Bank of England, you can now start your day by gazing upon row after row of gold bars.

The Bank of England announced the launch of a new application that offers users a tour of the bank right from their smartphone. Dubbed 'Bank of England Virtual Tour App,' the program is available on both iOS and Android and allows users to explore Bank of England's Threadneedle Street building in the heart of London. 

All told, the tour visits ten locations, including the gold vault, the committee rooms, a hidden garden and the Bank's museum. You can download it from Google Play or iTunes. Happy touring!
