I bought 5 of these when they were under $20, and they have a double click bug that shows up after about a year of my normal usage. I have gone through 3 of them already, and of the last 2, one is in the box new still and the other one I took to work and since I am almost never in the office, it will last a decade. It is probably worth $16 if you are ok with it being disposable after a year. Most mice can last me up to 5 years and even then it is physical wear and tear like worn skates as well as it being old technology that makes me end up replacing them.

The newer 502s with the lightspeed, maybe, apparently do not have this bug as they have a different switch.

honestly only reason I picked a razer mouse as I was just straight up tired of this issue. They are 100% aware of it and never changed it (and its fix would have been simple)/ Much as I like the G502 I would never say for anyone to buy it because its GOING to fail and become trash.

But only if you have or apply for a target card.

You WILL have to replace the switches within year.

    A year?
In my experience, it's within 6 to 8 months.
It was quite entertaining talking to support to get an RMA twice in one year.

Razer mice also did this to me.

Personally, I'd go for an Attack Shark. Similar shape to Logitech, yet infinitely more reliable switches, okay software, and a range of prices.

How easy it is to swap out switches and how expensive are they? I still have the 3 double clicking mice in storage... It is only the left mouse button that is at issue since its the one I press the most.

Yeah, that is the new one I have. I I guess it is the X that is the improved part, not the lightspeed. Thanks for pointing that out for peeps.
