Buying a pre-built PC is one of the best ways to overcome the current AI shortage that is squeezing the supply and the price of PC components, and we've just spotted a doozy to unlock hefty gaming performance at a price that won't make you run for the hills. Right now, you can score this Gigabyte Aorus Prime 5 Gaming Desktop PC, with AMD Ryzen 7 9700X, RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB DDR5, 2TB SSD, and Windows 11 for just $2,199 at Newegg.
This desktop is discounted by $300, bringing the price to just $2,199 instead of $2,499. Not a budget option by any means, to put the value of this rig into perspective, the RTX 5070 Ti alone can't be found for less than $949 right now. 32GB of DDR5 RAM is $325 in the current market, and the 2TB SSD is worth at least $200. That's nearly $1,500 worth of parts before you've factored in the case, liquid cooling, B850 motherboard, Windows 11, and the AMD Ryzen 7 9700X, worth over $300 by itself. While it might not be one of AMD's hallowed X3D SKUs, it's still a fantastic CPU on par with the Core i9-14900K in our 1080p gaming FPS benchmarks. This is the cheapest 5070 Ti build from a reputable brand at Newegg right now.
Get an RTX 5070 Ti, AMD Ryzen 7 9700X, 32GB of DDR5, 2TB SSD, Windows 11, and a free copy of Resident Evil Requiem in this Newegg desktop deal.
While the 9700X might not be the very best gaming CPU on the market, at this price point for a desktop, it is more than adequate and should serve as a gallant partner to the 5070 Ti, the headline of this build.
As you can see from our testing, it sits comfortably ahead of the old 4070 Ti super, and not that far behind the much more premium and expensive RTX 5080. The 5070 Ti is a crucial jump from the regular 5070, thanks to its 16GB of VRAM.

Indeed, the 5070 Ti beats the 5070 comprehensively across the spec sheet, a fact borne out in the benchmark testing. Away from the headline act, this desktop's supporting cast includes a B850 motherboard, which will give you some overclocking and upgrade headroom, as well as Wi-Fi 6. You also get 2TB of storage, Gigabyte's Aorus Gen4 to be precise, a perfectly capable SSD. There's also an 850W 80 Plus Gold PSU, and that all-important 32GB of DDR5 RAM 5600MT/s.
Another added bonus is the 360mm liquid cooler, which is definitely overkill for this processor, but looks incredibly cool. There are also four RGB fans, and the case comes with a tempered glass panel so you can see your new rig in all its glory. For what it's worth, and if it's important to you, the Gigabyte Aorus Prime range looks decidedly more impressive and sleek than a lot of pre-builts on the market, with a dark and menacing look.
