Building a PC from scratch these days is still problematic, thanks to the AI boom. RAM, video cards, and storage have all seen prices jump to unheard-of levels, making PC building a much more expensive undertaking now than it was just 6 months ago. And although things are said to be stabilizing, prices are still ridiculously high, and the only relief seems to come in the form of bundles like this solid deal on an AM5 combo that includes a Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, 32GB of Corsair RAM, and a quality Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 5 motherboard, all for $1,020.

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 32GB DDR5-6400 RAM: was $1,196.98 now $1,019.99 at Newegg

Get a good deal on this 3-item combo, including the fast Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6400 CL36 RAM, and a quality mid-range motherboard in the Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi7 for almost $177 off (and some free gifts!) And start your AM5 build now. Free Crimson Desert Game, Rosewill cordless air duster, and more.

The Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi7 is a well-rounded mid-range motherboard offering 12 total USB ports on the rear IO, including two USB4 (40 Gbps) Type-C ports. It has a capable VRM solution to power any processor, four M.2 sockets (3x PCIe 5.0 x4), a PCIe 5.0 slot, fast networking with 2.5GbE and Wi-Fi 7, a last-gen flagship-class audio solution, and several “EZ” features like EZ-Latch Plus and EZ-Latch Click to make building easier. It also supports up to 256GB of DDR5 RAM, with speeds up to DDR5-8200, which is fast for the platform, as the sweet spot is around 6000-6400 MT/s. The all-black board will also look good in any dark build theme and even incorporates some RGB bling to light up your chassis.

Also included in the combo is Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6400 CL36 RAM, $437.99 if bought alone. The black kit has a frosted RGB light bar that runs the length of the sticks and is sure to draw attention inside your case. Or, if RGB lighting isn’t your thing and you prefer a stealthy appearance, you can also disable it (on the motherboard, too). The DDR5-6400 speed lands on the faster side of AMD’s sweet spot and is a worthwhile, good-looking option for a 32GB kit. With the bundle deal, you’re essentially buying the RAM for a more palatable $ 261.99.

Even though we didn’t review this motherboard, we did cover its little brother (the B850 Aorus Elite Wi-Fi 7 version) and loved it, earning four stars. The X870E version has more bells and whistles and the same build quality and general aesthetic, so we don’t have any problems recommending it, nor the Ryzen 9800X3D, which was king of the hill for gaming processors.
